I thought that he really challenged children in his writing which was good. I haven't read any of the horror stories just remember the television show - with the naked dancing woman intro. I read his horror stories in my teenage years and I am reading his kids book with my kids now. He is fantastic. Thanks for the link to Monstropedia.
