Good post from Antony Mayfield on the tendency of brands to create social “ghost towns” when they simply build network sites and expect a vibrant community to form. Public Relations practitioners and marketers need to understand and participate in the online world, not simply employ flashy designers and IT experts to create a branded environment where no-one wants to visit or stay.
