UK Drive Time – RAC Foundation public relations moves into blogging

The takes an innovative approach to public relations.  Edmund King (who should have been in the in my view), frequently pops up on radio shows, like or television news, along with other members of his strong team.

They love to get behind a good campaign and have begun to follow these through with use of new media.  For example, as part of the global campaign, there is a fun game online in association with the band  and a new game for children launching this month.

Edmund has also appeared on online television and features on in relation to road pricing.

So I was not surprised to learn yesterday of the new RAC Foundation blog UK Drive Time – it is a little plain at the moment and reporting rather than discussing issues.  But I am sure the personality and commitment of Edmund and his guys will soon make this a valuable campaigning resource (Disclosure – they are all members and so well known to me).

I have another little challenge for the guys – the for the organisation is a basic stub and there is so much more to tell about its history, campaigns and approach that could expand this entry.
