Motoring tribute to rally driver McRae

As a tribute to the late rally driver Colin McRae a convoy of nearly 1300 Subarus seems a pretty substantial idea.  Stretching nearly 20 miles as it travels from Lanark in Scotland, to Banbury (home of Prodrive), the convoy is estimated to take ten minutes to pass by fans who will turn out to pay their own respects along the route on Saturday 30 August.

The press release reports that aerial shots will be available to the media after the event.  A dedicated site: http://www.mcrae-gathering.co.uk/ has more information.
